Google’s Upcoming Product Announcements Face Potential Delays, Despite Leaked Previews

Google event scheduled for August 20th is anticipated to showcase the company’s latest iterations of its flagship smartphones, foldable device, and smartwatch. Rumors point towards the unveiling of the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro Fold, and Pixel Watch 4 during this presentation, with initial pre-orders potentially commencing shortly thereafter, followed by retail availability at the close of August.
However, recent reports indicate that the release of certain models—specifically the Pixel 10 Pro Fold and Pixel Watch 4—might be postponed until October, although their official announcement remains on track for the August event. These devices have been subject to substantial leaks leading up to the launch.
Noted industry leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks), known for his accurate disclosures, recently shared three brief videos on X (formerly Twitter) offering glimpses of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel Watch 4. Each video runs approximately ten seconds and provides detailed close-up views.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold demonstration highlights its hinge mechanism, camera protrusion, lateral design, and the folding action itself. The video showcasing the Pixel 10 Pro concentrates on the rear camera assembly and the placement of side buttons for power and volume control. A brief clip of the Pixel Watch 4 reveals a view of the display surface, the rotating crown located on the right edge, and the underside of its strap, providing a new perspective on the charging pin configuration previously revealed in earlier leaks.
