Marvel Rivals Launches Season 3.5 with Blade and Significant Updates

NetEase has released Marvel Rivals Season 3.5, introducing the new Hero, Blade, alongside substantial revisions to ranked play and character balancing. The launch follows a scheduled two-hour downtime period intended to facilitate server maintenance and updates.

Blade, a powerful Duelist specializing in damage output, joins the roster as a key addition to this season’s content. Equipped with a katana, shotgun, and the ability to harness Dracula’s Sword for a devastating Ultimate attack, Blade also possesses defensive capabilities including a damage-reducing block and a dash strike maneuver. A unique team synergy is introduced through his inclusion within the Moon Knight and Cloak & Dagger team, granting him the power of invisibility and repositioning abilities.

Season 3.5 introduces a comprehensive roadmap for upcoming events, character skins, new maps, and game modes. NetEase estimates downtime duration to be consistent with prior seasons, though this may be subject to change. The Queen’s Codex event accompanies Season 3.5, offering both free and premium reward tiers including exclusive skins for Hela, The Thing, and Black Widow. Other available character skins include a Mantis skin obtainable through Twitch Drops by watching eligible streamers.
